Two upcoming events

Two events of note are coming up this week:

  • Consumer Attorneys of California 47th Annual Convention, Friday-Sunday, Nov. 7-9, in San Francisco.  The convention will feature different "tracks" throughout each day. I am slated to speak during the class action track ("Discovery in Class Actions") on Friday.

  • The Triennial First District Appellate Symposium, sponsored by the Bar Association of San Francisco's Appellate Practice Section, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in San Francisco. "Hear justices from all divisions of the First District Court of Appeal speak on a variety of topics relevant to practice before that court, from necessary skills to recent developments. This popular, all-day program gives advocates the chance to hear what their target audience wants and thinks important. If you practice before the First District, you should attend this program."
