Federal Civil Practice Bulletin points to a new law review article, "Mootness in the Class Action Context: Court-Created Exceptions to the 'Case or Controversy' Requirement of Article III," 26 Rev. Litig. 77 (Winter 2007). The "mootness" issues addressed in this article come up in California class actions as well. See, e.g., Shapell Industries, Inc. v.
