New Seventh Circuit class certification decision: Pella Corp. v. Saltzman

Here's a rare Seventh Circuit opinion affirming an order granting class certification in a consumer fraud case:

While consumer fraud class actions present challenges that a district court must carefully consider, there are circumstances where certification is appropriate. We conclude that this case is one of those circumstances.

PellaCorp. v. Saltzman, ___ F.3d ___ (7th Cir. May 20, 2010) (per curiam) (slip op. at 11).   Many thanks to the attorney who brought this case to my attention.
