Jury verdict thrown out in UCL false advertising case: Wallace v. Monier, Inc.

According to articles in The Recorder and Law360 (both subscription), as well as a press release by Morrison & Foerster, in late January, the judge overturned a $7 million jury verdict in a Placer County Superior Court case called Wallace v. Monier, Inc.   This is the same lawsuit that resulted in a published opinion on class certification three years ago, McAdams v. Monier, Inc., 182 Cal.App.4th 174 (2010).

I have not seen the order(s) or any of the briefs.  If and when I receive copies, I will post them here.

UPDATE:  The order, dated January 28, 2013, is available at this link.  Many thanks to the blog reader who forwarded it.
