RIP, appellate lawyer Sandy Svetcov

I was very saddened to hear the news of the untimely passing of appellate attorney Sandy Svetcov of the Robbins Geller firm, who died last Friday of cancer at age 72.  Sandy was so kind and encouraging to younger appellate lawyers.  The plaintiffs' bar has suffered an irreplaceable loss.

The Ninth Circuit issued this press release, and the Recorder had this story.

My sympathies go out to his family and his colleagues at Robbins Geller.   [Via How Appealing]

UPDATE:  On Monday, the San Franciso Chronicle had this obituary by Bob Egelko.
