"$40 million damages in hair-regrowth scam upheld"

An article by Bob Egelko in today's San Francisco Chronicle reports on an unpublished opinion handed down on Wednesday by the First Appellate District, Division Five.  Thomas v. Imbriolo, case no. A130517.

The opinion upholds the jury verdict and judgment in a UCL and CLRA class action (certified by Judge Freedman) against the owner of a company that misrepresented the efficacy of its hair-regrowth product.
